Brandon concentrates his practice in civil litigation, with much of his time devoted to the prosecution and defense of commercial lawsuits, representing financial institutions and insureds of title insurance companies at trial and appellate levels. He also represents health care providers, including physicians, nurses, and hospitals, in the defense of medical malpractice claims. Prior to joining RWR, Brandon served as a prosecutor in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office for almost four years. As an Assistant State’s Attorney, Brandon prosecuted numerous felony cases in the trial courts, including a murder case that resulted in a guilty verdict. In addition to his trial work, Brandon authored dozens of appellate briefs, and argued before the Illinois Appellate Court, First District.

• Second-chaired successful defense of hospital and four of its physicians in wrongful death suit seeking $6.5 million. Steadman v. Loyola University Medical Center, et al.
• Second-chaired defense of individual in ejection action concerning apartment building resulting in finding in favor of all defendants. Clara F. Azamiefakhrie v. Mohammed Ayoob Ali, et al.
