Todd concentrates his practice in civil litigation, with a majority of his time devoted to insurance and medical malpractice defense and appellate practice. Todd joined RWR in 1992 after serving as law clerk to Justice John J. Bowman in the Illinois Appellate Court, Second District. In that position, he assisted in the preparation of approximately 100 appellate court opinions.

Todd has participated in a number of significant trials, including an infant death case and a quadruple amputee death case, resulting in defense verdicts for his hospital and physician clients. As lead counsel at the trial of an amputation case, Todd also won a directed verdict for a medical clinic defendant.

Personal Information
Todd was born in Storm Lake, Iowa, in 1960, and was raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. Todd lives in Elmhurst with his wife, their three sons, and one daughter. Todd has long been interested and actively involved in politics, on the local, state and national levels.
